Company culture and benefits are incredible. Great work/life balance when not traveling and occasional work from home options.

Lots of travel, pro for me but not for everyone.

Small Family Atmosphere Working Together
Oct 21, 2014 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
About 120 employees and everyone is treated like family. Employees work well together and have opportunities to interact with other divisions. It is a technology business so lots of new, interesting product ideas as well has exposure to health care market. Excellent benefits for this size company.
Cons
Small business - not a lot of upward career mobility. Since it is smaller you have to wear many hats - so you need to be more of a multi-tasker instead of a specialist. Seems to have a lot of sales people for a company this size.

Great company to work for.
Sep 9, 2008 - Field Service Engineer in Mc Farland, WIRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Amtelco is a family owned company. They put family above work. Supervisors are very good when is comes to taking time off as needed for family and personal reasons. Work well done is recognized. They respect you and let you do your job without micro-managing.
Cons
Career advancement is limited since it's a smaller company.

A great place to work overall
Feb 28, 2018 - Software DeveloperRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Very paternal toward employees. Profit sharing in the form of bonuses. Flexible work schedule.
Cons
Slow-growth industry. Difficulty retaining young talent. No company is free of flaws or annoying policies, but these seems to be few, far between, and have fewer occurrences than at other companies.
