          Pros

The people you work with everyday are some of the best and brightest I've met. They want you to succeed in everyday aspects of work as well as leave with a wealth of knowledge. The culture at this company is one of the best with core values that are put in action, not just words on paper. All of the projects given to me were meaningful, everyday work my mentor and coworkers would be doing had I not been there. They were very open for my many questions but still trusted me to complete the work effectively and efficiently.

          Cons

The housing out in Midland was hard to find and somewhat limited in options.

            Pros

Relaxed work environment, plenty of opportunity for breaks. That latitude to work at your own pace makes it easy to get work done while you're in the office. People on the team were great and always willing to bend over backwards to help.

            Cons

Offices were a bit warm at times, especially on Monday mornings. I had an interior office with no window, so it got pretty stuffy over the weekend with the A/C turned up.

              Pros

I worked with a lot of good people who were great at their jobs and committed. They also had incredible benefits.

              Cons

When I started, management seemed more interested in drilling a lot of wells as fast as possible instead of figuring out the best way to drill them. Also, layoffs were handled extremely poorly.

Secure job. Amazing benefits. Great scheduling. Coworkers are all great people that work hard and are reliable. The culture is one of the best in the industry!

                Cons

Location. I don’t have anymore cons to mention. Now I am just writing words to satisfy the word requirement. Done

                  Pros

Everything at Anadarko was first class. The 9/80 work schedule was great, the benefits package was outstanding. With the downturn in oil, layoffs did happen but that is just the business.

                  Cons

Nothing. Anadarko was wonderful, there is nothing that would have made it any better. I hope that when oil goes back up the company grows and rehires people that were laid off.

Got booted from my former position about 4 years ago, which I LOVED. I have the impression I was "kept" in sympathy. Now that I have my feet beneath me, I feel like I'm running in place. Over the past 2 years, I've probably applied for about 100 positions in other departments. True, a few were unlikely moonshots, but for the most part I didn't misrepresent myself. Am I the world's worst interviewer? Otherwise.. shouldn't I have been accepted elsewhere, by choice?

                      Administrative Assistant

I haven't worked since Jan. 2020 when my job as administrative assistant for the Hospitalist group was eliminated. I can't begin to count the number of applications submitted, interviews I've had, jobs that I was told were mine then they weren't, etc. Several jobs have fallen through or not panned out. I am not a job hopper and want to stay where I go. I have a zoom interview tomorrow for a front desk receptionist position at an oral surgeon's office. Any interview tips are appreciated.

Hey all, I’m looking for advice on program manager hypothetical interviews such as: “what would you do if X happened?” Is there a particular thing or core value that Bloomberg looks for? Thanks!
