    Business Outlook

    Pros

Great opportunity to learn and gain expertise with the technology.

    Cons

Frequent reorganizations. Employee performance evaluation and growth planning is poorly done if at all. Everyone wants to work from home including lab technicians. Very relaxed environment but it seems that they’re always happy to get things done tomorrow rather than today. Deadlines keeps getting pushed while they build very aggressive project schedules. HR is non existent. Pay and benefits are low for the Boston area.

Good Work Life Balance but Low Compensation

Jul 14, 2022 - Product Marketing Engineer III in Milpitas, CA
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

    - Company has many product lines, so you get a chance to learn about varus technologies. - Company encourages employees to travel / meet their coworkers in different regions which is suitable for team building.

    Cons

    - Meager / low salary, as they don't offer stock bases compensation for most positions. - Joined company from Linear Tech (LTC) acquisition, hence they match only base + profit sharing (bonus) portion of the salary, but don't offer the generous RSU's that LTC offered. - Too many employees are hired to do the same job that an LTC employee did (unlike a lean startup mentality)

    Cons

There are no cons without sounding like I'm whining. I'll whine down in the advice section.

Decent company to work for. Screws employees over without caring

    Jul 29, 2022 - Product Engineer
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

Nice place to work. Nice people. Engineering rules not over-ruling, and things need to make sense in order for it to pass. This is nice because it doesn't give a king rule if a king has no grounding.

    Cons

Company moved to a much more expensive location, asking employees to move with it without additional pay.
