    Business Outlook

    Pros

-Great opportunities await to those who strive and show excellence -Incentives are given to those who over-perform -Frequent HR initiated activities like Sports-fests, Outreaches, Parties, etc -Academic Support/Scholarships for those who are deserving -Management is approachable -Very interesting and challenging for those who love their core electronics -One of the best companies to settle down for the long haul (for senior and managerial positions) -Travel opportunities (long and short term) -Good insurance package -Colleagues are very approachable, even if from distant departments -A lot of respectable and good mentors that can guide you to accelerate your career growth -Work stability and security

    Cons

-Frequent reorganizations could stir up the momentum or career development of relatively new or emerging teams/groups -Career advancement can be slow depending on your position on the curve -For the entry level to non-senior positions, salary and compensation is on the low side -Politics is evident -Training opportunities are present but difficult to allocate time to attend when being engaged with demanding projects -Bonds here, bonds there -Long term projects could take a really big chunk of your "time"

    Good WLB, toxic workplace culture

    Mar 24, 2021 - IC Design Engineer
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

Work is chill. Projects take years to finish, hence, WLB is great. Company has great 401k match(8% match for 4% contribution). Contributes $600 for HSA. Bonus factor calculation is transparent. Everyone receives same bonus factor irrespective of individual performance.

    Cons

Workplace culture is getting toxic. Middle management, especially in remote design centers, micromanages the hell out of even senior employees. Employees are even scared to talk to each other. No accountability for managers. Old school culture for legacy LTC folks. No visibility and career growth for employees. No incentives for putting an extra effort. Lack of proper equipment for day to day activities in the name of frugality. Compensation is below average. RSU/Refreshers are negligible. Young folks should stay away from remote design centers. Attrition is getting higher ever since the acquisition.

Diversity and Inclusion
We are proud to share that Analog Devices has been named by Forbes and Statista as one of the World’s Top Female Friendly Companies 2021! We are one of 300 global companies to be recognized in this inaugural list. This distinction is based on independent research conducted among 85,000 women respondents in 40 countries. Scores are based on employee and public opinion, and leadership criteria at the board and executive levels. “This recognition reflects the importance ADI places on having a truly diverse and inclusive workplace,” said Marnie Seif, Chief People Officer. “I am proud of the company’s initiatives to advance women, as well as the employee-led efforts by the Women’s Leadership Network, who are helping pave the path forward.” Learn more about how we are driving impact within ADI and beyond: https://www.analog.com/en/company/corporate-social-responsibility.html
