I have been working at Anchen Pharmaceuticals full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people I met here were very nice.

    Cons

The leadership lacked vision. They only did what they knew and were scared to try anything new. Because of this, many systems did not grow and develop as business increased. There was also quite a bit of nepotism, from direct family and friends of the owner to friends and former colleagues of managers to brothers or sisters-in-law and at it's worst cliques formed from the same culture. People with the wrong qualifications are in the wrong positions. They lack true comprehension of GMP as well as academic and practical knowledge in regulatory and quality aspects.

    Advice to Management

The company was purchased by Par Pharmaceuticals and subsequently acquired by TPG. There is already a change in leadership and hopefully a change in culture, but as of now, many departments still operate as I have stated.
