I have been working at Anderson-DuBose full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nice people! Home daily, no ramp unload, count the daily stops on one hand. Benefits after 90 days. No truck over 5 years old.

    Cons

Some deliveries are in tight spaces. Chipotle deliveries are at night and McDonald's deliveries are when the stores are open.

    Advice to Management

Keep on hiring to get us ready for the expansion

I have been working at Anderson-DuBose full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Local delivery route , no stayovers. Good pay and benefits. New equipment. Growing company

    Cons

It's not hard but it's delivery work. Once you learn the delivery its good, cart delivery no dolly walking. It's worth being home daily.

    Pros

The pay is great, the benefits are good. The hours can be good at times. You pick your bid every six months so you can plan your schedule. Frank is great and can be easy to work with. Warren seems nice when you see him. They have family events throughout the year. Bonuses if you qualify for them....... You need to work extra hard to get them. But are achievable.

    Cons

Don't plan to much as throughout the six months of your bid it will get changed around. They will add more stops to your route, then complain and threaten to write you up for suspension if you are late to your stores due to added stops. Seems every dispatcher is a supervisor. Lack of communication with owner. BIds are making less and less money every 6 months. They do have their favorite drivers that they cater to when they put our the bid packs and make sure they get the best runs and all the store they like and the most money bids.

    Advice to Management

Warren you are losing good working drivers due to the office staff.

    Negative Outlook

    Pros

Pay is great..... but that's about it

    Cons

Excessively long hours, extremely fast paced. Employees are consistently forced to work overtime on their days off. Which causes a high turnover rate, which in turn causes more forced overtime. Its good in the beginning, then once you go full time they force you onto second shift. Hope you like nights and having no life

    Advice to Management

Stop babying first shift and punishing second shift. Treat all equal and get rid of the bidding for hours.

    Pros

    Pay isn't horrible New building

    Cons

job is very physical, the dry dock is really hot and muggy and they wont put fans in there, you don't know what time your gonna get off for sure, you never know where your gonna work until you get there, 8 people where just hired for one shift and they still need people to work overtime, they do not care about you spending time with your family and they time your picks but don't take into account the time it takes to get carts, time spent waiting for the wrap machine or time to pull pallets and plastic, and management likes to get smart with you when asked to do their jobs oh yeah and they wait until an hour before the end of your shift and tell that your staying over for 2 hours.

    Advice to Management

schedule your employees better so no one is forced to work over or come in for a extra day relax your time so people aren't killing themselves all day I doubt anybody in management can hit those numbers while also cleaning up plastic and pulling pallets. Also I did notice that the freezer is full of food that was discarded for being dropped on the floor until there is a cookout.

The starting pay is really good and the job takes no special skill besides training.

    Cons

Very long work hours with very little time to rest.

    Advice to Management

Have events that bring together the warehouseman and give them more time to rest.
