I worked at Angel Fire Resort Operations (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great HR and upper staff, Family oriented, even during crush time of the season. The actual owner takes time away from the many corporations he runs to physically assess the operations at the resort. I was amazed at the amount of care put forth.

    Cons

The only cons I have or had were soon resolved after I resigned my position. The pay is not the highest and the work load is heavy, keep in mind it is a seasonal area. There could be more perks with the housing since they own most of it. All in all i would go back.

    Advice to Management

More hands on investigations and less meetings..

I worked at Angel Fire Resort Operations full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great place to meet new people and enjoy the lifestyle. Free ski pass and access to other facilities is a nice plus. Overall, a great place to work if you are looking for a change of pace.

    Cons

High turnover of staff and managers so there is really no way to move up with in the company. No benefits for seasonal or part time employees.

I have been working at Angel Fire Resort Operations full-time

    Pros

Love the location, the skiing, hiking, mountain biking, etc

    Cons

VERY low pay. Employees treated like scum. No funding for upkeep of the resort. Common for managers to be verbally abusive (not mine - I love my manager). Common manager tactic to come into meetings with dozens of people and 'sideswipe' other staff without warning. Typical power-trip and everybody thinks they know how to run the show.

    Advice to Management

Fire yourself. Immediately. Before this place goes completely into the toilet.
