    Pros

It's a great company to drive for when it comes to customers and relations with coworkers. The driver's supervisor works with you to ensure you're doing the best you can and to make work better for you.

    Cons

No one really comes near 40 hours per week, topping out at 38. As far as the industry is concerned, the pay is considerably less than most other companies.

I have been working at Angelica Corporation full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The innovation that the company has the ability to provide surpasses the industry standard. Will the innovation continue to expand?

    Cons

over the recent years there has been a push for more corporate staff and less staff at each location. The implementation of the silo management structure has been put in place. Silo for Sales/Service, Operations, Customer Service, HR, Financial. At the local plant level there is little decision making capability. The culture in the sales and service and operations team is to come in and do the job you are responsible for, Not a lot of bigger picture initiatives to get the teams together to get excited about.

    Advice to Management

Reduce head count at the corporate level and put more decision responsibility back to the VPs and AVPs. Let the local markets dictate what the customer needs are.

I have been working at Angelica Corporation full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good Team in Place, Lots of Opportunity to learn and grow as a Technician. Ability to set your own pace and the encouragement of your team mates to learn new things.

    Cons

Salary is Flat no way to advance. Production environment is extreme and no supervision or leadership exist on the production floor.

    Advice to Management

Make a decision on weather you are running a business or a halfway house.

I worked at Angelica Corporation full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great Company good people, some very bright and talented individuals. Good work/life balance and regional and top level leadership (for the most part).

    Cons

Fundamentals of linen management are abandoned and expectations are skewed at the top. Critical steps must be taken to course correct or the organization will collapse. Technology initiatives need to be aligned with KPI's and linen management fundamentals to see the ROI. Industry is ready for disruption but technology needs to converge with many overlooked or undervalued opportunities to realize full potential and prove value.

    Advice to Management

Linen management and controlling costs needs to be primary focus, not sure the all the right players are on the team to keep initiatives focused to guarantee success of RFID.
