I worked at AngioDynamics full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Competitive pay, though not worth the pain of putting up with the mismanagement, politics, backbiting, cliques and antagonistic VPs and Directors who are at war with each other.

    Cons

Conglomerate of several companies with completely different and conflicting business models, products and ideals.
Lots of infighting, turf wars and constant clamdestined calls to HR.
Most of the truest brilliant and talented people have fled or been fired, the few who remain are looking for an escape.

    Advice to Management

Ditch the VP starting the turf war with everyone.
Take HR down a few notches from their lynch mob mentality and kill their alliances with certain key people. They are anything but impartial.
Worry more about the value of your product and people than your empires and self promotion.
FYI the CEO listed on Glassdoor was fired two years ago. They went from bad to worse.

    Pros

    - Very casual work environment- for the most part. Employees who are not tied to a production line have a very permissable schedule.
    - Many talented young employees find it easy to do well and get noticed.
    - Priorities are :Family, then work.
    - Seems to be a great stepping stone company for people to learn and gain experience, then move up- both inside and outside the company.

    Cons

Recent acquisitions of several companies(3 in 5 years) have forced the intermingling of several similar but distinct operating systems and methodologies to combine into one. This is confusing to the newly hired, and breeds some level of angst amonst the employees of the previously different companies. In reality, there is much opportunity for growth and improvement because of these mergers- but only the "positive" people will capitalize on the opportunity.

    Advice to Management

Clear the deadwood. When people from the "old" company constantly reminisce about the good old days of Navilyst, and grumble about AngioDynamics, they are doing a disservice to all. Don't keep them around.

I worked at AngioDynamics full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Used to be great employer in region with dismal economy. Great compensation, but that is also a con because many current execs are in over their head but no incentive to leave.

    Cons

Executives lack requisite experience and also underestimate the aptitude of the employees and managers so the good workers are leaving in droves as they see decisions made and excess of corporate spending

    Advice to Management

Sell company or bring in at least a few executives who have sailed this type of ship before.

I have been working at AngioDynamics full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good for entry level candidates. Health insurance. Starting you'll get 3 Weeks vacation for exempt employees and for non-exempt employees you'll get 3 weeks vacation + 6 personal days.

    Cons

Salaries do not match the roles and responsibilities. Sales are usually bad. Turn over rate is high. Moral is always down.

    Advice to Management

Come into the office more often and actually observe what is going on. Perhaps take a few finance courses. Have facility picnics to increase moral.

    Pros

    Ik heb geen pluspunten gevonden.

    Cons

Lelijke kantoren.

I have been working at AngioDynamics as a contractor (More than a year)

    (Translated from English)

    Pros

Veel geld!!! Maar dat is het ook

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Als jullie nog steeds willen bestaan op het einde van het jaar, werf dan PROFESSIONALS aan
