    Pros

The executive management team is second to none with a great passion for growing the business and helping the employees grow their career. The compensation is better than 95% of the people that I know and the variable compensation is amazing. Cross functionality is a huge benefit!

    Cons

If you don't like to work hard and deliver results, this is probably not the place for you. If you want someone to guide your career for you, this is definitely not the place for you

    Pros

Good pay if you’re at the beginning of your career- around 20% above market rate. Promote young fresh grads very quickly.

    Cons

If your LGBT or a minority, you can forget progressing your career here unless you’re part of their gmba or GMT program. I’ve witnessed so many minorities that were hired externally fired within a year and replaced with a GMBA or a GMT. It’s not a diversity friendly place and you can forget about family oriented culture (which does exist in other beer companies like Heineken) It’s a Brazilian /Caucasian good old boys club at the top. The only minorities you see that hold any sort of position came from their trainee programs. Work experience does not matter in terms of career progression especially if you care externally They also promoted their “holy” people very quickly - we are talking about a band level every 1.5 Years. People make the same mistakes over again and very little direction from so called “new management”. The company is large purely from acquisitions- shareholders really doubt if they can grow organically like other cpg companies. You can also forget work life balance- requests can come in Saturday at 11am the weekend of Labor Day and be expected to be done by 10am the day after Labor Day. Expect 60 hour work weeks to be the norm and don’t think you’ll be appreciated for it Moreover if you’re performing average and they don’t want you, they’ll find multitudes of reasons to push you out or move you to a role in a not so great location. Unless you’re in the Brazilian / good old boys club/ GMT/GMBA, I would stay clear. This place will suck you dry.

Top down management style from a company that knows nothing about brewing beer or growing market shares.

    Pros

Good wages and benefits. Great union support.

    Cons

Since InBev took over this American iconic company, they've turned it into a profit sucking machine at the expense of it's product integrity and it's hourly employees. The most simple and mundane task can't be accomplished without forming a committee and holding dozens of meetings. The managers are kids right out of college who know nothing of how to engage and motivate people. They fail to understand that we, as long term hourly employees, are the experts. Most of us have learned and forgotten more than they will ever know about our jobs. Things would run much smoother if they would simply get out of our way and allow us to do our jobs. This once proud company is only concerned with their zero-based budgeting. From the plant manager to the lowest floor supervisor, their budget is all that matters. This obsession is more important than the quality of the product. Anheuser-Bush InBev is nothing short of a multi national house of card waiting to either collapse or be broken up into pieces and sold.

Lack of vision and values / not a place for long-term growth

    Pros

Great level of responsibility and autonomy from early on Fast and dynamic

    Cons

Everything is short-term driven. Leadership cares about the result of the month even if it means you are compromising future transactions Not human centered - challenging is considered as not being an 'owner' - creates a culture of fear (specially among leadership) The focus on cost management is so exagerated that they dont hire sufficient people for critical roles and end up paying the consequences with continuous process failures They treat people as pawns - moving you to another country without alternatives and massive salary drops wihtin people of same banding (not consistent) Leadership is caracterised by white (Brazilian mostly) males (literally). Not diversity neither from a gender nor race perspective.
