    I worked at Anheuser-Busch full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Ability to quickly move within the company if you are mobile. Compensation - Health insurance, 401K match, 2 cases of beer/month, environment, and new parental leave policy!! Plans by upper management are visible to all employees during quarterly calls.

    Cons

Training is all on the job so it is important to ask questions to understand the process. My team did not have flexible hours. My line managers did not challenge me.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to sit with employees and understand the process. Reinventing the wheel by management team and not surveying users before rolling out a new process.

I have been working at Anheuser-Busch full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The pay is high for unskilled labor. There is a strong union that cares about workers. Finally, there aren't many people to deal with.

    Cons

There is a limit to how much can be worked. There also isn't a recycling bin for paper. It is all thrown away.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to your workers. Some of them have been working at Budweiser long before you and will long after you leave.

    I worked at Anheuser-Busch full-time

    Pros

Very easy to advance quickly in leadership roles, good compensation/benefits

    Cons

Not enough technical experience throughout the salaried staff, not enough employees to get work done efficiently, constantly changing routines to attempt to help make process sustainable but it only makes it more complicated and is avoiding the true issue at hand (operation is way too lean). This causes the severe work-life balance deficit.

    Advice to Management

Hire more mechanical and electrical engineers, allow them to do strictly process engineering at first (rather than supervise operators and technicians), then move them to management/supervisory roles, so that people responsible for quick decision making have the knowledge and experience to do so efficiently. Also need more computer programmers on staff.
