I have been working at Animal Health International full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Great people to work with.

    Cons

Management is HORRIBLE. gossips horribly about who car is parked at the office and who is not there. Have major deadlines but will have meetings about employees wearing flip flops but not help with year end dead lines.

    Advice to Management

stop rewarding immature managers that gossip and reward the people doing the work.

I worked at Animal Health International full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Easy job, two 10 minute breaks and hour lunch break, good benefits and employees. They had good events for holidays and fed us for weekend work.

    Cons

Constant schedule changes, always stayed 2-3 hours late. Promotions were favorites and not to people who deserved it. If you went to HR to report a problem about management she usually went and told management and gave your name to them.

    Advice to Management

Value your team from top to bottom. Get with the times. Listen to your people. Solve problems, instead of ignoring them.

I worked at Animal Health International full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Longevity of history, focus on animals.

    Cons

Male only executive team, founder is too frugal to be sophisticated, highly tenured team makes operations archaic, CEO is racist and sexist - lies to those in front of him about those behind him.

    Advice to Management

Change is good, create diversity, create opportunities and pay your employees a competitive salary. In addition, move the corporate headquarters to a less smelly city.
