RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI have been working at Ankura full-time for more than a year
Pros
- Incredible team of brilliant thinkers and doers - Nurturing learning environment - Invests in personnel - Committed to positive work culture I write this review in a time of uncertainty and change. I'm grateful for this organization's commitment to safety, transparent communications, and getting through this crisis in a way that prioritizes their staff and clients. Ankura's integrity at this moment highlights that they truly walk the walk.
Cons
I honestly can't think of anything major. I hope that they can continue to grow and ride out the current COVID crisis with their spirit in tact. This organization has incredible self awareness and actively works on issues that they can improve (namely diversity among personnel). The level of transparency and openness to feedback is exceptional.

RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI have been working at Ankura full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
I really enjoy and appreciate the colleagues that I have worked alongside over the past four year--they are smart and helpful. The client work is challenging and rewarding. Ankura leadership is supportive and empowering.
Cons
Client engagements and work teams change regularly (one or more times per year), so if you do not like change, this is not the work for you.

I worked at Ankura full-time for more than a year
Pros
They pay well for the most part. Lots of happy hours
Cons
Limited growth and opportunity to work for different teams. I think some managers tried to accommodate more than others.

I have been working at Ankura full-time for more than a year
Pros
Salary isn't bad, insurance benefits are pretty good, and work from home has been enjoyable.
Cons
Emphasis on corporate values and long-term goals feel disingenuine, especially considering the high amount of millennial turnover the company seems to endure. Overall, I don't want to have to dedicate my time to brainstorming how to be a better corproate citizen for a job that only provides 7 paid sick days a year (and sick leave does not carry over year to year)

Neutral OutlookNo opinion of CEOI have been working at Ankura full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
-I have a great work life balance! (Beware that some groups do not). -I love my coworkers and have great managers that care about my growth at the firm. -I mostly enjoy the work I do! I like my clients and the work I find pretty interesting. -WFH is pretty flexible and I think it will stay flexible (especially with COVID-19)
Cons
- Unequal pay between service groups. Those who worked for Navigant previously or those who now get recruited into one of those groups get a much higher starting salary. I have coworkers from college at the same level as me making $10,000+ more a year...Ankura could do a much better job at being transparent on what the range of salaries are at each level. - Senior Management turnover. A lot of senior management has changed in the past 6 months and it’s a bit unclear what path Ankura wants to take in terms of direction. -Not enough professional networking opportunities. Even before the pandemic, Ankura did not financially support junior levels folks to go to conferences. I have been denied several times to go to a networking opportunity at a conference or to go take a continuing education course to gain skills/knowledge at a local college. All were within the company policy $ amount but told they didn’t have enough resources for junior people at the moment. Although I understood, I was very disappointed as I want to grow my skills and professional network. Unfortunately, I don’t feel like I will have the opportunity at Ankura especially now with COVID-19.
