I worked at Ann Taylor (Less than a year)

    Pros

50% off discount and semi cute clothes

    Cons

Management. There is obvious favoritism between manager and district managers RUN FROM THIS JOB

    Advice to Management

Start respecting and train new employees instead of ignoring their concerns. People would like to stay and grow with the company if they were actually given the chance to do so.

I worked at Ann Taylor part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Ann Taylor was by far the best retail place I ever worked at. The job duties are doable and can be fun depending on who you are. I personally loved being in the style room and styling the clients.

    Cons

My only complaint about working there is my hours. One week I would have a lot of hours and then next week not so many.

    Advice to Management

Give equal hours to all employees. It's only fair.

I worked at Ann Taylor part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The best employee discount I've seen so far being 50% of anything full price, 20% off of already reduced items, and 75% off of 1 item from selected 3 departments every month.

    Cons

Your managers will most likely have an unprofessional, snarky manner whenever they are upset with anyone and the entire management team gossips about each other and their team non-stop so don't look for privacy. I have experienced multiple stores and multiple positions (in and outside of management), so far they are all the same.

    Advice to Management

Keep it professional and throw out the attitude, we're all adults. Don't sit on your butt when your team works.
