I have been working at Ann Taylor part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Everyone is friendly. Discounts are great. Opportunity to move to a sales lead from associate

    Cons

Managment sets only set amount of hours when on a busy day and we are short on staff. When discounting clothes for a promotion it changes to frequently. When we are short staff, it can be very tedious. There are business processes to make more efficient. Store policies don't make sense. No creativity to choose to do the marketing for mannequins.

    Advice to Management

Please listen to your employees. They need to be heard and provide them more hours.

    Pros

There were no pros for me honestly. I didn't like it that's why I moved on. AGAIN OPEN PROMISES.

    Cons

They made WAY atop many open promises like Tillys does, only difference is Tillys has more back stabbing.

    Advice to Management

Suck it up and work. Give sales leads the TITLE of assistant store manager! They do so much and btw my store manager was racist. That's why I ledt

    Pros

There is a 20 word minimum but it's hardly any pros about this job

    Cons

    No water for co-workers
    No paper towels
    No respect
Treat you like a little child

    Very disrespectful
    No visual people
    Hardly there is sale people
The work that you doing you should get paid more
Gotta tuck in your shirt in the stock room and while you do shipment ( they go hard ) why ?
    They over work you

    Advice to Management

I worked at Ann Taylor full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The Pay, the salary is great however I suggest to not work over your 40 hours. You will get HALF-TIME for that not time and a half

    Cons

No Client facing time in the Loft outlet. The store was to busy to be concerned with the client facing portion. If someone steals from the company they want you to ask them to work even if they quit. They do not care that the person stole, they do not put your safety first. You will be offered the high rate of pay due to the 60 hours you will work.

    Advice to Management

Don't put any trust in the other management team, they start to feel a threat and then you will be gone like a fly.
