    I worked at Anomaly full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Inspiring company vision (unfortunately the inspiration ends there), amazing colleagues that make friends for life (because you will have no life outside of work). Nice office space in great location.

    Cons

    Terrible management who berate and belittle their employees. No culture. Old school ways of working, complete with a micro managing CEO who yells at his staff. Extremely political, only management favourites are treated with respect. Tolerable pay level, but no chance for pay raises so negotiate hard before you sign a contract. No opportunities for promotions.

    Advice to Management

    Treat your staff with respect, don't yell at or belittle them. Listen to them. Encourage them, Find ways of letting your staff grow, and stop throwing them under the bus with projects that eat up all their free time. You don't pay well enough to do that. Get rid of the CEO.

    Fun colleagues, friendly environment, great client roster

    No pay raises, low production budgets, always stressful and tight deadlines, no diversity
