I have been working at Ansira full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I love this company. The environment and community are supportive and helpful. I have the opportunity to work from home if my kids or I get sick. My supervisors don't guilt trip or discipline for having to go to doctor's appointments. There is a very open door policy on any concerns or issues. The management team are constantly finding ways to make the work day fun and focus on team building.

    Cons

None that I can think of

I have been working at Ansira full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Good, smart people
    Flexible hours
    Interesting projects
There is so much available to learn with enough interest

    Cons

Growing fast and a lot of really big projects means it can sometimes be difficult to get traction. Company needs to put added focus on internal workflows and org structures.

    Advice to Management

Do not be afraid Invest internally where needed both in people and development, it will pay off!

    Pros

Pretty casual environment and good company culture.

    Cons

Since Advent International took over, they restructured the company and layed off a bunch of people in different offices throughout the U.S. with no warning.

I worked at Ansira full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Three Week PTO with 1 extra potential week off during the holidays
    - Youthful employee base
    - Many large company activities/ events with weekly happy hours in the office.
    - Senior Management open door policy to talk over coffee or lunch.

    Cons

    - Lack of Diversity within the office space.
    - One of the largest agencies in Saint Louis yet no one seems to know who or what Ansira does.
    - Pay is below the standard for work/ hours completed.
    - Favoritism is clearly shown towards some employees from upper management.
    - Ansira acts like a firm - not one agency. Each office location has different rules, structure, and career potential for employees. Saint Louis office is known for the burn and turn of college grads.

    Advice to Management

I am positive on the outlook of the company in the coming months/ years to address the high turnover rate, employee career growth, and public knowledge of the agency itself.
When hiring new employees, tell them outright what the job entails and don't beat around the bush during the interview. Recognize the flaws in mid-management and bring in new leadership with new ideas. Train new senior account reps with skills they need to succeed rather than throw them into the fire and expect them to be okay.

I worked at Ansira full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Younger culture which brings hopes of a work hard, play hard mentality. Potential week off work during the holidays.

    Cons

Monotonous job with very little room for advancement unless you know the right people. Management will look at you like dispensable peons. They offer happy hours on Friday, but depending on the team you fall into will reflect how many times you are able to attend said events. Very little room for help from managers. It’s a “throw you into the fire” company. You don’t need a college degree to get hired, and you don’t even have to take a drug test. They will take whoever they can get to fill the turnover rate. Horrible place to work.

    Advice to Management

Put confidence in the employees that want to work, and work hard for your company. Quit keeping people on staff that don’t do anything and keep getting paid. Raise your wages to pay beyond the bare minimum, and maybe you will retain some quality undergrad workers. Such a slave labor company and it’s pathetic. Stay away grads if you’re looking for the account representative rolls. Better off mananging a Picklemans than working here.
