I have been working at Anytime Fitness full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Hours, franchise, member, flexible schedule, always doing something different, can be creative and use my own ideas

    Cons

pay, no benefits, no commission, no PTO, no paid sick days (I can't even afford to be sick!)

    Advice to Management

This is a fantastic franchise! Unfortunately, your work environment will depend on ownership. I love my job, but feel undervalued by management.

    Pros

You get to work for what feel like a smaller company because each one is franchised. Each persons experience will be different when working at an anytime fitness. It isn’t hard work as an office manager but as a trainer you might have to work a little harder to get your clients. Commission is always a plus too!

    Cons

Being in such a small company, the owners really need to have a high level of involvement and that involement determines the success of the company. No benefits at all. No insurance and barely paid vacation.

    Advice to Management

    Be involved with your franchised.

    Pros

I got a free gym membership

    Cons

The personal trainer has a very sexual personality and uses his "business" to find vulnerable woman to have intercourse with in his office. The manager is a very narcissistic dominant male figure and doesn't do anything besides work out during his shift and kisses his girlfriend. He is very rude and degrading of woman. The owners were notified of the things going on in the franchise and have done nothing. That is why I am no longer working for them. Worst place I have worked at.

    Advice to Management

Get it together. Listen to the recommendations or problems people have and fix it, don't just leave it alone.
