    Pros

Strong business plan, great leadership. Solid training program in place that insures employees have all the skills needed to perform their jobs. The pay was exactly what I was looking for. I believe that I was always treated fairly. The company has a solid benefits plan with multiple options for health/ dental/ vision plans, matching 401k.The Company also reimbursed me for my cell phone, home phone and internet. Also put into place company career plans for employees that are looking to advance through the company. All and all, I would say that is a great place for someone early in their career

    Cons

Aon Consulting is a very large organization. I think that it can be overwhelming when someone comes on board. Although job responsibilities where well defined, I had issues understanding what I needed to do regarding documenting time, and mandatory internal security training. I think for someone like myself who worked off site sometimes I did not know who to turn to for basic employment questions. The other two downsides were the HR and Tech Support. For any HR related questions an employee has to call a 1 800 number. Felt like calling a customer service line. Tech Support was the same way. I have waited a couple of days to get some basic issues fixed and resolved.

    Advice to Management

Keep developing a stong book of business.

    Pros

Great place to work. Work-life balance is great. Managers are good and approachable. Learning opportunities are too good.

    Cons

Salary needs to be more competetive.

    Advice to Management

Work on salary enhancement to be more competetive else valuable employees will flee to ACS or Mercer.

    Pros

You will work with very smart co-workers. While pensions are becoming more rare, there is job security because few people do this work.

    Cons

At times over the recent years, leadership has had some problems. Prior leadership led us directly to a buy-out by Aon.

    Pros

Great people and definitely challenging work. Flexibility in your work week and once youve put in some time the ability to work virtually.

    Cons

Pay isnt the best but they try to make up for it through benefits and overtime for entry level positions.

    Advice to Management

Dont really have to many complaints here, maybe a little less finger pointing and say we messed up as a team when things go wrong.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Aon Hewitt full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

In Talent and Rewards, they certainly understand your need for career growth and try to help you reach your goals. Recruitment Processing Outsourcing (RPO) helps you learn new skills.

    Cons

In Recruitment Processing Outsourcing (RPO) they are not interested in helping your career grow but would like you to stay where you are doing great work. If you are retired or just not interested in career growth then I think this is perfect otherwise if you are ambitious I would not recommend joining this group.

    Advice to Management

So far I am satisfied and don't have any advice to Management besides keep doing what you do best.
