I have been working at Aon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people are pleasant and the work is challenging and exciting. Many opportunities to work with both local teams and teams in other offices. If you're willing to put in the effort the opportunities to grow are endless.

    Cons

Onboarding and training process is lacking. For new colleagues you're almost expected to figure everything out yourself. It's good to figure out some pieces on you're own but without formal training integration into the team is slow.

    Advice to Management

Develop better onboarding process that really integrates new employees into the office and our company culture.

I have been working at Aon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great opportunities to get involved in projects outside of your job description. Collaborative environment, great work-life balance. Most of Aon is set up to be virtual, meaning you can work from home if needed.

    Cons

The regular red-tape that comes with a large organization. Takes a bit to navigate at first.

I worked at Aon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Friendly environment, parking garage available, if you don't have a car and use the train there's a $50.00 allowance. The workplace is near the Politécnica University and it's very accessible.

    Cons

There's a lot of training and material to cover or a short period of time. The key is to understand the platform.

    Advice to Management

Friendly, always accessible. But please be aware of the business like etiquette, this is an office not a park.

I worked at Aon as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

It was a fun loving environment filled with many different types of people. Everyone would stop by and ask how my day was going and find out more about me.

    Cons

It is a very big company so it was hard to learn everything. A lot of analytical work

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. The management team involved interns in meetings and emails in order to get an idea what daily work life was like.
