    Pros

Apache has decent technology and some good developer. They respond to customers but mostly by a sqeaky wheel basis.

    Cons

All decisions are top down. You better like being told what to do and when to do it. If you don't like a decision it is best not to disagree. There are very big egos running company and they expect you work around the clock even though employee have very little incentive to do it.

    Advice to Management

Be more transparent and genuine. Many employees feel like it a white collar sweatshop.

    Pros

    plenty of new enhancement requests

    Cons

plenty of semi-senior r&d with the power to take product roadmap decisions without being open to constructive criticism as many groups lack a platform to have good technical discussion on new ideas.

    Advice to Management

Support technical discussion. Encourage and back good performers more.
