I worked at Apex Systems for more than a year

    Pros

Friendly people who act like they care. A dollar or two above what many other jobs offer.

    Cons

Constant changing of leadership and employees. No benefits. Will fire immediately even if you have been their employee for over two and a half years.

I have been working at Apex Systems full-time for more than a year

    Pros

They get you the job, help you get there then never really talk to you again unless contractor tell them too.

    Cons

With the Open Ended Contract I have no ability to get raises if I don't get hire on. So they just continue your contract when you start at the site: No Raises No PTO No Holiday pay/ must work the day to get paid No incentive to increase one knowledge at site

    Advice to Management

If you don't like turn over please remember your contracted will start looking if there no way to increase there pay

I worked at Apex Systems for less than a year

    Pros

The Columbia office is a very friendly place and the District Manager is 2nd to none. Account Managers and Recruiters were very supportive in helping me to settle in.

    Cons

Pay rate was on the low side for the administrative assistant position

    Advice to Management

The pay for the administrative assistant should not be based solely on workload but also experience

    Pros

Apex takes great care of its employees and contractors with flexible schedules, employee bonus plans and a great culture

    Cons

There are a lot of moving pieces in the staffing industry and it requires an organized mind to stay on top of everything. Sometimes it can be high stress.

I worked at Apex Systems for less than a year

    Pros

Good recruiter, good travel department, good client relations manager. Staff in MD are top notch.

    Cons

Took a long time to reimburse travel expenses. It's understandable there was a lot of coordination that needed to happen and sometimes things get delayed, but the amount of time it took was too long.

    Advice to Management

Reimburse expenses promptly. Keep up the good work otherwise.
