Cons
I don't typically leave reviews, but I feel very compelled to help the next person by sharing my experience. I don't want to go into too much detail, but here is what happened at a high level: There has been a lot of turnover lately, and with that, changes to the organization. After a couple years of service, I was put on a team where several extremely unqualified individuals were promoted to 'people leader' roles. With no say, one of these individuals (who was initially my same level within the org & had only been there for ~5 months) became my 'manager'. And like something out of 'Mean Girls', thus began the bullying that has persisted for months. Not only did this individual lose their temper and become extremely aggressive in front of others, they created lies and attempted to disseminate them across the organization. This individual purposely setup 1:1 meetings on work related topics, just to play psychological games, where they would unleash personal attacks, provide many belittling comments, and carry out verbal harassment. This person also revoked my access to certain company resources that are needed to complete the job. Many associates have spoken out to leaders and HR about this tyranny, and I personally have spent hours detailing our interactions, but HR refuses to take any action. HR's response instead, 'Sorry, sometimes in life you will encounter difficult people.' The VPs who hired this person have also been radio-silent, as they need to protect themselves, since there has been a string of ill equipped hires (some of which they had to fire after <6 months) in the past year. If you're looking for a new job with good culture, just know that this company isn't it at the moment. This snake of a 'manager' is still at the organization, and based on HR's incompetence, I don't see that changing anytime soon. If interviewing at ATG, I urge you to be careful and on the lookout for obvious facades. Some other cons include: - No diversity - New CMO (not a con per say, but will inevitably result in a lot of organizational changes) - Extremely political, the 'Good Ole' Boys Club' is painfully evident - Old school in ways of doing business - Minimal investment in data & analytics - Clueless leaders (most cannot do or understand the jobs of their direct reports) - Very sales driven organization
