I have been working at Apollo Education Group full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Work Life Balance.
    Career Development Plans.
Health and Well promoted with company provided on site gyms/yoga/ and more.
If you have an adaptive personality type, Apollo is a great way to professionally learn and grow in a changing environment that thrives on identifying and making improvements and growth that improve the student and employee experience.

    Cons

Bad publicity in recent years has resulted in a poor public image and may be an issue for some.
With a large amount of change and unknowns, employees have become hesitant to knowledge share and work together on tasks/projects.
There is bad employee morale as everyone wonders which departments will be downsized next.

    Advice to Management

There has been much change in recent years. Management should invest time, effort and resources into their teams now more then ever before. Promoting healthy discussions and team building. And above all, recognizing those that have positively supported Apollo's change and overcome interoffice challenges.

    Pros

Great diversity in terms of the culture and work experience of people. They are from different work backgrounds and bring in more creativity to the table.

    Cons

The internship program had a lot of activities however, the projects were not well carved out. I was lucky to get a great hands-on project but few of my fellow-interns did not.

    Advice to Management

I am sure things would have changed by now as it has been a long time since I interned at Apollo group. Overall, a great experience.
