    Pros

    Like many start-up's AppNeta had some growing pains, I've read the posts from 2012-2014 and understand not everyone agreed with decisions that were made. Regardless, that is in the past and before my time. Currently AppNeta is making a name for themselves in the APM space and growing rapidly at the same time.     My first few weeks at AppNeta were concerning because there were a lot of changes but the dust has settled. Additionally, this isn't particularly a con but it is an inside sales organization with a lot of out-bound activity, if that is not what you are looking for then this isn't the job for you.

    Advice to Management

    Keep the pedal to the metal and don't look back. Continue to improve the product and the leadership moving forward.

    Awesome feedback - please keep it coming! Change is definitely a part of a start-up and managing the right amount of change is always hard. We've been better at managing this lately, but it's easy to lose track, so your insight there is appreciated.

    Pros

    Great opportunity for any sales rep that is confident in their ability to break into new accounts. They are fair and pay very well for those unique individuals who earn their success. If you can't crack into new accounts and close business, then this is not the place for you. If you can, then you will make a ton of money and have exposure to the highest level of the company.     Pros

    Great place to work if you want to work hard and make serious cash. You're given lots of freedom to succeed (and lots of rope to hang yourself if try to cowboy it and go it alone...).

    Cons

    Being a startup, there is a lot of change in the go to market approach. AppNeta has more change than most, but the change is driven out desire to make people successful. Not a place to work if you expect to get a "cookie cutter" approach. You'll need to self-motivated and be prepared to figure things out on the fly.

    Advice to Management

    Hire better. Too many of the sales team members don't take the opportunity seriously or approach the job with professionalism. It's hard to sell (regardless of how strong the product is and AppNeta's product is actually a winner) and it is even tougher when you have to sit next to people who expect to have everything handed to them and/or complain about their peers or management when the real answer to their lack of...

    Gaining the knowledge that if these incompetent and delusional people can be executives, then there is no doubt I will one day get there myself.

    Cons

    Where to begin: don’t let the fact that Bain invested $16 million in this company or that SolarWinds, another Bain company, the company they were supposedly competing against and whose product they constantly trashed on, also invested in them fool you- there is a reason why no new investors have come on board.
