Great company overall. Take very good care of their employees. Always allowing their employees to work on development to better themselves. Great work/life balance, and really try to care about what is happening in your personal life.

    Cons

Can get promoted quickly to a certain point. Beyond that it takes a very long time to move out of role.

I have been working at Apple full-time

    Pros

Benefits are amazing! Apple takes care of their own. Pay is higher than most places i've worked.

    Cons

Work-life balance sucks. Every three months your schedule changes and you don't find out until a month before it does. You have to bid on you shift. You better hope you get what you need. If not, too bad.

and there's very little opportunity to grow. They hire outside talent for leadership positions.

    Advice to Management

Give us a chance to chose a schedule so we can spend time with our families. Give your internals a chance to prove themselves as leaders.

    Pros

Loved every minute of working at Apple. It challenged me more than any other company I've worked for and helped me grow tremendously.

    Cons

Really aren't many. You have to be ok with change, ambiguity, and the occasional angry customer

I have been working at Apple part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

AppleCare advisors have a work-from-home option, excellent training, excellent corporate culture, well thought out policies, flexible time-off system, great employee discounts, good benefits

    Cons

Complexity makes communication of policy and procedure changes difficult; multiple, mandatory, and repetitive channels to accomplish one goal (for example to request time off you have two different systems that ask for the same information in two different ways)

    Advice to Management

Simplify job-maintenance processes and reduce the number of places to go for job-related information. Oh, and keep up the good work.
