I have been working at Apple full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people are awesome, the managers are exceptional. Love personal offices! The compensation and benefits are very competitive. Happy to be there.

    Cons

None. Not really have much to say here. Maybe more team building parties outside of office? Anyway, those are just nitpicking.

    Advice to Management

Stay as cool as you are now! We'll do much more things together!

I have been working at Apple full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Money is good. HW Technology is brilliant. Some super smart people still here. Moves fast. Super attentive to detail. Customer is treated as king.

    Cons

Red tape , bureaucracy, blind management. Too focused on bottom line and wallstreet pandering. Super aggressive and nasty behavior rewarded if you're smart. Low focus on computer science.

    Advice to Management

Don't be blind. Have a spine.

    Pros

Apple has the best consumer products and its always exciting to see the new products and be part of a company with success

    Cons

Management only focus on executing the project and less about employees. This is not the best place to work to my opinion.

I have been working at Apple full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I came to apple as part of acquisition, where I had lot of perks(RSU's). I am with apple from past 3.5 years and happy to be here. They gave almost same number of RSU's every year. Had to work long hours but it was good as you can prove yourself.
Maternity leave was 12 weeks which is really good

    Cons

Moving within apple is easy but you have to tell your manager before hand which actually puts you at risk.

    Advice to Management

Give some gifts to employees for Christmas.
Free food is something they have to think about.

    "Top down innovation"

I have been working at Apple full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

For any manager, the way to succeed at Apple is to be seen to conspicuously innovate. Good managers tap into the talents of those who report to them so that the whole team is seen to succeed and innovate. Managers get substantial authority - it's very top-down - so if you get a good manager things will work well for you. If you are considering a position at Apple, learn as much as possible about the managers you will report to, as they will make or break your experience.

    Cons

The hypothetical "good" managers referred to in the Pros section are uncommon. Much more common is the sort of manager who feels insecure and considers his/her reports to be competitors, and prevents them from contributing effectively. Such managers feel under pressure to provide all the innovation themselves, and actively suppress anything from below. Of course that won't stop them from giving their reports negative performance reviews for failing to innovate. If you get this sort of manager you will find you have no voice. If you are considering a position at Apple learn as much as you can about your potential managers, try to find out which sort they are.

    Advice to Management

Rate managers by their ability to harness the talents of their reports, not by their own personal innovation. Permit engineers a voice. The company is spending a lot of money on talent - stop wasting it.

I have been working at Apple full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Work on software and hardware that almost everyone uses everyday.

    Cons

All companies have bureaucracy and Apple is no exception. I hear worse stories from people at other companies (like Google), though.
