    Pros

Good pay, good people, flexible schedules, employee purchase program, not sales driven. It feels good not completely emptying the customers wallet

    Cons

Very long interview process and is very difficult to move upward into management, as all employees are extremely qualified and driven

I worked at Apple part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You are really taken care of as far as benefits and similar area. If you do your hardest, Apple will do everything it can to help you make the most of your life. Their culture has been one if not the best experience I have ever had at any job.

Yes, it is Retail and that is a hard part, but they really work with you and want to make sure you enjoy your time.

I really got to learn a lot and a lot of the skills they develop in you are life changing and applicable in life not just in your job.

    Cons

This is on the Retail side only. It is hard to get promoted once you are in a position in Apple. While management says there isn't any favoritism, there is. You'll often feel like those that suck up to management are the ones that get the promotion.

Schedules are incredibly demanding and hard. You will be required to work many days you'd prefer to be off. While they try to work with you, expect to not really be able to set a schedule for other events.

    Advice to Management

Provide those with tenured performance (those who have proven that they are both dedicated and enriching to your team) the ability to get promotions in your stores.

I would have stayed with the company if only I was able to get the financial security (aka full-time) I so desperately needed.

I have been working at Apple full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

As far as retail goes, fun and energetic company. Supportive management team. Hours of operation are good for Retail.
    Relaxed atmosphere.

    Cons

The pay is horrible. For the expectations of the level of Customer Service, pay is subpar.
Apple boasts they hire the best of the best, but doesn't pay as if that is so. Unless Supervisor role or higher, you will make less than $32,000/year

    Advice to Management

Pay your people what they are worth and show them you appreciate them. Turn over is at an all time high because of this.
