I worked at Apple Vacations full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Free work trips, wonderful co-workers

    Cons

It was fun when I first started but soon went downhill as they increased the workload and not the pay. Once they see you are doing well, they start offering you full time and then more responsibilities. They slowly add another phone line and then another until you are so overwhelmed. No pay increase. I left due to stress.

    Advice to Management

You need to hire some people strictly for Apple and others strictly for AM Resorts. You are asking employees to basically work for 2 companies at the same pay.

I have been working at Apple Vacations full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Travel benefits are great if you can get approved.

    Cons

Depending on the department in which you work you may hear different views about the company. Overall, just about everyone is underpaid for the amount of work that you are expected to do. The employee turnover is high, management needs improvement, and you don't feel appreciated. Technology is bad and that is an understatement. The company needs to invest in new systems both for travel agents and employees.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your employees as they are your greatest asset!! You are losing many great talents because the company is not competitive with pay and employees do not feel appreciated.

    Pros

You get paid to travel to multipe destinations. Mexico, Jamaica, Hawaii, Punta Cana, and other leisure destinations.

    Cons

The pay is too low for the responsibility that comes with the job. This is true for most departments throughout the company.

    Advice to Management

    Better compensation is needed.

    Pros

If you love to travel the travel perks are great weather they are work related or personal

    Cons

Expect to work a lot of over time and be paid under average for work load and responsiblity

    Advice to Management

I have been working at Apple Vacations full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They are HONEST at interview, you will not make more than $10.90 per hour and you will have to work one weekend day NO MATTER WHAT

    Cons

GROSSLY UNDERPAID, Must work one weekend day and Holidays are a must. Work life balance is terrible and they don't care if you have experience or professionalism, I sit next to people in the call center who are rude, curse and even hang up on customers and they make the same wage as I do. SAD

    Advice to Management

Pay people with experience $15.00 per hour, like Liberty Travel, GoGo Vacations and AAA Travel and maybe you wouldn't have such turnover. Sad thing is, I think you don't care, you treat your call center reservations agents like they are replaceable, and they are.....20 new people in training every 3 months speaks for itself : (

I worked at Apple Vacations (Less than a year)

    Pros

Seemed like great place to work. Had never been so excited to work for a company as I was with them

    Cons

Got very sick 1st wk of training. Can't miss any time during training. Admitted to hospital. Reapplied & told didn't have enough experience.

    Advice to Management

Explain to employee how had enough experience in 9/14 and not in 5/15 when I reapplied.

    Pros

    Vacation benefits and Co workers

    Cons

Everything else is sad, they just could care less about current employees or keeping good workers. Everyone is dispensible.

    Advice to Management

Don't be so greedy. Would it kill you to have even maybe one holiday party a year, or summer picnic to acknowledge how hard your employees work? Or that they are appreciated?
