    Pros

potential for income, good people in middle management and below

    Cons

more micromanagement than expected, you can set new branch, region, and company records and then be threatened about your job security because you need to do more this year and this was one week into the new year

    I worked at AppleOne full-time

    Pros

Lots of contests. Easy to meet metrics in the first and second year. Good for young, new recruiters.

    Cons

Cliques, insulting, and catty at times. Not very detailed when it counts. Expensive benefits package for direct employees. Not easy to make a lot of money when you're new. The same people are always successful either due to tenure or due to being given a little extra help. Only 2 people successful without being given clients by someone else - the branch managers.

    Advice to Management

Treat people equally. Set everyone up for success. Communicate changes before they happen. You can't call people successful that you give clients to while calling others unsuccessful because you haven't helped them at all. If you nurture your current clients, you'll continue to have a gold mine. Don't drop the ball on the deals that are about to pop. Everyone you hire can be a success if you help everyone who wants to be successful. The values at the top are in the right place. Don't give your A/E's and Recruiters lifetime ownership of candidates on a case by case basis. Improve your ATS.

I worked at AppleOne full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Staff was very friendly, many temp placements.

    Cons

felt mislead and never receive my personal items from temp location once released from a contract.

    Advice to Management

Follow up with your placements, think of not just the company your locating staff for yet think of the people your hiring to fill positions.

    Pros

Appleone works hard to find a job for you. They are more transparent about issues that can affect your pay or your shift.

    Cons

They tend to be on the lower end of the pay scale. When other contracting services hear that you are currently working on a contract at Appleone, the recruiter stops returning you phone calls.

    Advice to Management

do not have issues with the management.

    Pros

Team environment, variety of staffing industries

    Cons

You can be fired at any time for not hitting goals, constant pounding the phones, having to work Christmas eve, New Years eve and Thanksgiving eve (let people enjoy time with their families). You have to request those particular days off and work the day others chose to take off. Old school processes. No real company bonding, every branch is it's own entity.

I have been working at AppleOne full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Multiple locations, low work volume, normal business hours, rewarding helping others

    Cons

Management receives rewards for employees numbers and can even qualify for a yearly trip off others hard work and numbers. Commission is minimal, 10$ a placement!

    Advice to Management

You get what you pay for, turnover is HIGH

I have been working at AppleOne as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

I had an interview days after applying.
Within a couple weeks they were able to find me Work I love.

    Cons

After getting on assignment I've received no communication from them.
I sent an email expressing interest to go temp to hire, it has been almost a month since and when I've emailed asking about status I've been told "their contact is on vacation/ they should talk this week/ we'll get back to you"

They have neither found anything or have kept base with my partner for the past 3 months who is still looking for work.

    Advice to Management

    Make conversations efficient.
Your team especially needs to be able to follow up in a timely manner.
