I worked at AppleOne full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Fun group to work with
    Really building your skill sets
    Ability to move up (slowly)
    Benefits are pretty good
    Monthly commission
    High turnover

    Cons

    Goals are high
Training is ALWAYS changing (not all managers train the same)
    Sink or Swim
It never seems like your best is enough

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees frustrations. There are really great processes being rolled out BEFORE they have been completely fine tuned. Some of the more senior management doesn't understand that times are changing, things aren't the same way they were 20 & 30 years ago. Those practices that made the company money then, are making the company seem more outdated than the competition.

I worked at AppleOne as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

I liked working with the staff at AppleOne because they were personable and understanding and helped me get jobs.

    Cons

I felt like because I was a contracted out for work, I wasn't valued as a person very much. It's not AppleOne's fault, I think that's just the nature of temp jobs.

I worked at AppleOne as a contractor

    Pros

At the beginning they were upfront with your job duties

    Cons

After you were hired, they never really checked in on you to see how you were doing and never answered emails

    Advice to Management

It might be nice to interface with your temp employees a bit more.

    Pros

They do a good job as far as finding work.

    Cons

"Temporary work" that is, in a job market that is hurting tremendously. I have been living in Tulsa now for 3 years and have been employed by only staffing agencies. Companies here in Tulsa, OK do NOT want to hire direct employees because they do not want to pay the employees to have benefits. They cut corners and utilize staffing agencies and dispose of employees are keep them on as permanent temporary employers working with staffing agencies. Ridiculous!! At first I thought it was from the Oil and Energy sector that caved-in here in Oklahoma. Now, it's also the ObamaCare that is keeping employers from hiring directly. All my friends work for staffing agencies. I am planning on leaving to Kansas City to get away from this economic disaster of a place.

    Advice to Management

No advancement. Stepping stone to get hired directly with contracted employer.

I have been working at AppleOne full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You get to have a base salary plus uncapped commission. Commission isn't really great unless you're closing perm.

    Cons

We used to be on salary but not anymore since the company doesn't want to pay more for us to be on salary. The manager micro manages like crazy and it could be really annoying. Benefits are BASIC!
