    I worked at Appleby full-time

    Pros

Easy work, no micromanaging, over time is easy to get if that's appealing to you

    Cons

Low pay, constant changing policies, lack of advancement, scheduling department is terrible, You use your own car if you're a field agent

    Advice to Management

Management does a great job of staying out of your way, but they're stingy with raises and taking in feedback. Maybe invest in some company cars so field employees don't cause massive wear and tear on their personal vehicles.

Not a bad company, but it's not something most people will be able to do long term.

    I worked at Appleby full-time

    Pros

From what I recall, a good starting point for lawyers who recently graduated to get experience. Also can be a good starting point for corporate secretaries to get training.

    Cons

There seemed to be a revolving door when it comes to support staff. In some departments, there is a lack of support and appreciation.

    Advice to Management

Provide competitive salaries and incentives to build a culture where employees feel valued for their contributions to the company.

I have been working at Appleby full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great work environment. Good team of lawyers and support staff. The quality of work that you are exposed to as an attorney is fantastic - some of the worlds biggest clients doing some of the worlds biggest deals.

    Cons

The compensation could be better. Appleby do not pay top dollar in the market place. Also, they can sometimes be slow to promote persons.

    Advice to Management

They need to create better performance incentives especially as it relates to salaries and bonuses. They need to be more proactive rather than being reactionary.

    Pros

Good quality working environment; nice people; good country and social life; other than that not much else to say I think

    Cons

If an expat limited opportunities; office support limited in quality; you frankly make of it what you will and if you make no effort you won't enjoy it

    Advice to Management

Not going to make suggestions as management clearly know what the issues are and if they haven't made change now they never are.
