I worked at Applied Behavior Consultants full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Some of the people I worked with were genuinely great people who treated the kids really well.

    Cons

The three SBA/SBCs would treat the employees with little respect if they did not like you and rather help you be a better employee they would wait for your next mistake to highlight your faults. It is very sad that this environment exist in a special education school.

    Advice to Management

Provide your employees with competitive pay and train your SBA/SBCs on the school site to be more compassionate and work from a team approach as echoed by their mission statement. I would be fearful to send my child to this school knowing that supervisors treat typically functioning adults in that manner.

I worked at Applied Behavior Consultants full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Do not work here ever.

    Cons

The bosses have high expectations and overload you with work. You will not be able to have a conversation about it either, no problem solving. You are not listened to.

    Advice to Management

Realize the position may be failing, not the person.
