I have been working at Applied Behavior Consultants

    Pros

Pros working here are getting hired very quickly and jumping into the hiring process Also very nice people and opportunity for switching from part time to full time

    Cons

Cons would be starting pay lower than its competitor, and not many hours. Had to get full-time because of most hours after school 3-8 pm

I have been working at Applied Behavior Consultants for less than a year

    Pros

Amazing! The kids are amazing you spend so much time with them that you feel you're apart of the family! Everyone at the office are so friendly and willing to help you in any way they can! Even the BCBA's are willing to help you if you are trying to pursue your masters.

    Cons

None really. Other than sessions can be cancelled occasionally but children get sick its understandable.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great work!

I have been working at Applied Behavior Consultants part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Training was very educational, lead tutors are welcoming and the school site is fun for the children

    Cons

A little unorganized and the upper staff is a bit snooty... no room for pay negotiations, as they have already decided on pay when they offer u the job. Did not take experience into account and the pay is low for the amount of data requested alo g with teaching lessons.

    Advice to Management

Pay fair and understand that the tutors are the heart of the company and should be paid fairly.

    Advice to Management

Train employees better. And her rid of the people who are just there for a paycheck

I worked at Applied Behavior Consultants

    Pros

families are great! You learn tons here about ABA and Austism. Great place for college students who want a part time job.

    Cons

Overworked!! Great programming for kids but too much work for BCs! Big gaps in between work days.

    Advice to Management

Cut out unnecessary work for bcs to make their lives easier. Need a better billing system they have multiple ways to track the timesheet, very insufficient.

I worked at Applied Behavior Consultants part-time

    Pros

Paid $16 an hour with no experience, just a BA or BS

    Cons

Hours can get drastically cut - I ended up working every other week =.=

    Advice to Management

When hours are cut by parents, figure a way to reimburse tutors - we have a life.

I worked at Applied Behavior Consultants part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The basis of the company is great. The heads of the company are very passionate about the work they do for the children. There is a great amount of continuing education. There is a lot of opportunity to learn.

    Cons

The office itself is very disorganized and it is not employee friendly. Employees do not tend to stay working there very long. Families often complained of not being informed.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees, 9/10 truly want to advance in the company if given a chance and it appears that friendships and favoritism is definitely a factor in play in order to advance to a higher position.
