I worked at Applied Medical for less than a year

    Pros

Great working environment. The atmosphere was awesome. Free food for interns on certain days. They even gave us a winter bonus just as a thank you.

    Cons

Nothing I can think of. They encourage interns to do as they please (what interests them) but to a certain degree. The staff was amazing and I do not have a single complaint.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you do. You guys treat your employees like family and the atmosphere is amazing. Overall had a great experiences.

I have been working at Applied Medical for less than a year

      Pros

Vertically integrated company means there is a lot of opportunity to learn fundamental engineering skills from component level manufacture to top level assembly. Offers experience with in house machine shops, injection molding, automation, clean room assembly, etc. Good co-workers, decent work environment.

      Cons

Pay is low relative to other companies with no room for negotiations. Company model is based off of cost reduction and reproducing products from other medical device company with little to no focus on innovation.

I worked at Applied Medical for less than a year

        Pros

Good team mentality. Diverse project base suited to my skill set. Young, nice individuals willing to help. Great city to work in

        Cons

Wage was somewhat low for the level of work I personally was performing. Probably could have gotten a higher intern wage elsewhere.
