I worked at Apria Healthcare full-time

    Pros

This company does not value their employees when it comes to the day to day duties. There was not enough staff to answer the phones and process insurance verification. MUST be able to multi-task and handle a high stress environment.

    Cons

    They are under staffed

    Advice to Management

Reconstruct the department to balance out the team so there are enough staff to cover each areas.

I worked at Apria Healthcare (More than a year)

    Pros

Was remote position, so zero commute time. Worked with great team. Our manager and director worked hard to pull us together as a team and help us know and appreciate each other.

    Cons

Some of the teambuilding was a bit overboard for my tastes, but still worthwhile.
The main problem was, corporate felt the need to downsize. So much for the 'perm' position.

    Pros

Given opportunities to advance. Field team is given opportunity to act as entrepreneurs, and true "business owners/innovators." Company believes in mission to improve the quality of lives for our patients. Great team atmosphere.

    Cons

In a rapidly changing Healthcare Landscape, Apria strives to change even more rapidly to stay ahead of the curve. At times, this can lead to "change fatigue" and feelings of uncertainty.
