    I worked at Aptana Inc full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    The best CEO I have worked with and a fantastic team all around. Everyone is smart, and we really worked well with each other. There were a lot of fun in the office.

    Cons

    Trying to monetize on the product and justify new funding did cause us to have several direction changes and some wasted efforts.

    Pros

    produce a lot of useful software. good career potential and benefit
    good recognition in the industry and good acquisition target

    Cons

    so-so benefit, entry pay is low and annual increase is minimal
    location is a bit outward. no travel allowance and healthcare benefit

    Advice to Management

    increase the benefit for employees to attract talented people to join
    consider more business model that can bring revenue to the company
