I have been working at Aquent full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This company is incredible. I may be biased because I love the digital and creative industry, however, I have never written a review for a company, because in my years of staffing, I have never had an amazing experience - until now.

Aquent allows you to have complete autonomy of your desk and to be 100% entrepreneurial. It is collaborative amongst team members, where everyone is doing their very best to help each other out.

Aquent allows flex hours, unlimited pto, money towards improving yourself, and you can work from home as needed. They treat you like an adult here and don't monitor your every move like most staffing companies.

Obviously if you want to be successful you have to do the work and you will be rewarded by putting in the time.

    Cons

I don't have any cons to report at this time.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing - You guys rock!

I have been working at Aquent full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Exciting company culture, very collaborative environment and everyone is encouraged to help each other which is sometimes unusual for a sales role. Great work/life balance, ability to work from home some days or come into the new office which is in a great location. Supervisors and managers are in constant contact and provide strong communication.

    Cons

Technology is constantly being updated and needs to be learned. Not a deal breaker, but can be tedious sometimes.

I have been working at Aquent full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

What a great recruitment company to work for! There is no micromanagement from managers as long as you're hitting your numbers. Aquent also really respects their contractors and clients which makes it even better to be a part of.
Very flexible work environment, gorgeous office, great environment and staff with a higher than average base salary for recruiters.

    Cons

Aquent has an AMAZING list of clients they work with however there could be a bigger push in bringing in new accounts throughout the whole business.

    Advice to Management

The only advice I have would be to have a higher bonus and more incentives throughout the year but everything else is great.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Aquent full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

People in non-high level management positions are great
Good benefits, but horrible benefits department
Flexibility in schedule, dependent on what team you're on

    Cons

    Horrible benefits department
    Horrible HR
No upward movement potential at all
Upper level management is completely removed from what actually happens on the ground floor
Compensation is 50% below standards at least - base salaries are far too low and commission structure is a joke.
Office culture used to be good, but now almost no one shows up

    Advice to Management

Get rid of department heads and hire people who actually have degrees, education and a work history related to marketing, recruitment and especially HR. Also, hire people who actually work hard and go to the office most days, if not every day. You let people who have been there a long time be way too lax about their jobs, which will inevitably lead to failure.
