I worked at Aramark part-time (More than 3 years)
On joint base elmendorf-richardson (military base).
Management threw employees under the bus constantly. Employees had to text managers things so they could prove that they had told a manager at some point, otherwise managers would lie to inspector's faces. Nobody knew what was going on and that was also blamed on the cashiers. Lazy employees got away with everything. The ones that actually did work just got more work added to them.
Nobody ever fixed the problems that were at work. The cash drawer was missing a key for two years (managers knew), but when the military IT guy came, it was a big deal and suddenly managers didn't remember ever being told about it.
Advice to Management
Be leaders, not bosses. Don't blame your cashiers for your mistakes. Pay more attention to your employees and make sure everyone is working.
