I have been working at Aramark full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people. From the 1st day, I felt that I had support but also plenty of autonomy to make my own management decisions that would directly impact the business. Lots of trust from directors and other managers to accept someone straight out of college and let them manage others. Overall really great program and I highly recommend it!

    Cons

Not knowing what the next steps are. Aramark doesn't do a very good job communicating what the next steps are for graduates. I'm still not sure if I'll have an opportunity to move and still stay with the company.

I have been working at Aramark full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Not many. You get a paycheck.

    Cons

I manage a kitchen. Management above me forge QA's. They do not respond to needs even in a crisis.

    Advice to Management

Start listening to what the people on the ground floor are saying. They are stressed and your consistent inability to respond to concerns and needs is what leads your high turnover rate.

I have been working at Aramark full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

High hourly pay. Potenial for growth if you take complete initiative with your experience.

    Cons

Terrible management. Shady when it comes to politics in the workplace. Too many people with the same position, so there can be issues finding work to do. Not actually in Chicago, tons of traffic to and from the city.

I worked at Aramark full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good starting pay. Benefits are decent. All the overtime you can handle

    Cons

Work life balance is atrocious. Was working 55-60 hour weeks minimum. Have to deal with 4-6 price increases a year, which makes clients very unhappy. Client turnover is high, as is employee turnover

    Advice to Management

Limit price increases to once per year. Lower required amounts of loss/ruin.

I have been working at Aramark full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Lots of opportunity to learn and great online training CBTs covering many topics of operations

    Cons

bad work/life balance, not much training as far as on the job, weak upper management, bad on-boarding as far as communication and expectations

    Advice to Management

Develop a better training program as far as on the job training to match the caliber of your online training system. Develop a better on-boarding program as far as site based
