I worked at Aramark full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Off for the Holidays due to campus being closed. Summers are usually slow if your location is opened. Most units are closed making summer easy.

    Cons

Low pay for the amount of work you do.
Continually having to hire and train staff because of lay off season.
Bad work environment, the idea that everyone is replaceable issued out loud by upper management.

    I worked at Aramark part-time

    Pros

Schedule was very adaptable to me

    Cons

Management was terrible. They give extreme amount of works and expect results without even trying to implement new ways. They used their employees a lot especially the one at Weston. The management staff are cruel toward the employees. The pay is not worth all the works they add on to your shoulders

    Advice to Management

Hire more people and stop being cheap so your employees can stay and give effective customer satisfaction

I worked at Aramark full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Not many pros. It's a good starting point for new Director but don't stay there long cause it will burn you out.

    Cons

Unrealistic P&L goals. Stressful environment created by Area managers. Only focused on bottom line. FSD's not educated which leads to poor management and dangerous food handling procedures. Was maxed out on salary at hire and never given monthly bonus, which was promised at time of hire. Unethical business practices overlooked until it was to late(again only focused on bottom line till client complained) Definitely left a bad taste and would not work for them again.

    Advice to Management

Focus on hiring qualified directors and employees. Proper training and directing will aid to profitable bottom line with out comprised service to your clients.
