based around odd hours of concerts and venues shows.

    Pros

Flexible, fun supervisors, easy to get shifts covered, the atmosphere is easy going and occasionally you will get to talk with upper level folks.

    Cons

Very little hours due to paycuts, part time employees get screwed due to over hiring of full time. You can ask for more hours but will most likely be ignored

I worked at Aramark part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Friendly staff, free food. Hiring process was easy. Worked in Viterbo University's cafeteria. Would recommend for a VU student looking for a small job.

    Cons

Dirty work - cleaning dishes; lots of cleaning in general. Not exactly glamorous. But if you don't mind then this is a great college job.

    Advice to Management

    None, everyone was awesome

    Pros

Diversity is the only real strength I see.

I have been working at Aramark part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The company has great benefits and the environment is friendly. As an employee there I was pushed to be better everyday.

    Cons

At times the job is hectic. If it's not having the right ingredients in house, then it the chemicals, and on top of all running around to find the ingredients and/or chemical something is always broken: pani press, low boy, one of the stations got shut down for a whole day due to a fire.

    Advice to Management

More organization and better communication. Other than that management does a great job there. They are friendly and approachable. Also they will help you through obstacles on the job.

    Pros

    Benefits, Advancement, Fortune 500 Company

    Cons

Loosing customer base, No longer a entrepreneurial company, Trying to make all business units turnkey.... but they are not.

    Advice to Management

Recognize the individual markets, It is a large diverse country and not all accounts can be operated the same. Listen to your leaders in the field, than rolling down directives to service customers.

Picking up slack for other workers since not everyone likes to hustle and get things done. Lack of connection from the upper management to the workers.

    Advice to Management

An awareness gap between management positions and workers.
