I have been working at Aramark part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I have met some great people from working here. I like working with customers. They work with your schedule if you are a student.

    Cons

Communication needs work. As a cashier that works directly with customers, I need to know new policy changes, but as a part time employee, I feel as though am always the last one to know what is going on compared to full time employees.

    Advice to Management

Need better direct communication to employees. More benefits.

I have been working at Aramark full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Fair and competitive wages. Flexible schedule, great work environment. Bartending at a convention center is highly lucrative and exceedingly easy. Management team is a well oiled team making managing an event smooth assuming your team has good communication.

    Cons

There are some times of the year where there will be little to no work. A temporary second job during these times is must.

    Advice to Management

HR departments of each location that I've seen so far only have one individual. This often leads to favoritism or targeting based on personal agendas, I've seen as much more than once.

I worked at Aramark full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Solid CRM data base to contact from. Paid Holidays. Very enjoyable place to work when they were privately held. The culture has since changed.

    Cons

Pay structure changes year to year and less benefits/perks over the last several years. Low if any annual pay increases. Received 1 increase in last 5 years and that was not even equal to the adjustment in the cost of living. Multiple price increases to customers every year unless they were part of a Regional or National Account.

    Advice to Management

Take care of all your current customers. Go at least one year with out off cycle price increases. Get back to the culture when it was privately held.

Lots of walking exercise around the whole stadium.

    Cons

    Horrible pay, since its seasonal.
Bad communication, no one can explain anything.
No consistancy, something will change for one game then its different the next, then right back to the way it was before.

    Advice to Management

    Be more organized.
Pay people what they are worth even if they are seasonal.
