I have been working at Aramark full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Laid back environment with some autonomy within your respective area. Good benefits and time off.

    Cons

Because no specific tasks are sent from corporate you can easily become a floater to fill in hourly positions without getting managerial experience.

    Advice to Management

Make sure there are CLEAR goals and skills for the reporting manager to have to track the A2L's progress. Have quarterly check ins (possibly video conference) with BOTH the A2L and their manager.

I have been working at Aramark full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Hours are from Monday through Friday, you get paid weekly with health benefits, 2 to 3 ten minute breaks every two hours depending of you do have overtime for that day, then you get a third 10 to 15 minute break depending also on the temperature outside, if it's 90 degrees or above, then you get 15 minutes. otherwise its the standard 10 minute break also you have union support when ask for or if necessary.

    Cons

Working conditions are very hot, 100 degrees plus in the summer and dirty with mandatory 10 hour overtime days on a daily basis, even when there's a heat advisory in effect. It's always 10 degrees hotter inside the plant with no air except for the fans when they work.

    Advice to Management

    None.
