I have been working at Aramark full-time

    Pros

Decent salary Really hard to get fired

    Cons

Unrealistic goals set by people who have never worked a day in the field. Too many hands in the decision pot, a bunch of useless people in upper management, 3 people doing what 1 could do. Makes getting decisions an issue.

I have been working at Aramark full-time

    Pros

All depends on management Good benefits Flexible schedule they work with you usually, and you kind of make your own schedule College campus kind of follow break schedules, down time for breaks, busy busy beginning semester. Not the same thing 24/7/365

    Cons

Reviews tend to be generic. Depends on upper management Sometimes appreciation isn’t shown On college campus constantly hiring and training

I worked at Aramark full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Not sure what a Pro would be with them.

    Cons

upper management always changing, the upper positions have eyes closed to what really happens to allow them to sail through the wine and dine life they want.

    I worked at Aramark part-time

    Pros

Great co-workers and team first attitude in our store.

    Cons

Corporate and regional influences lacked understanding of operations and treated us more like "just employees" instead of human beings. Upper management (not in store management) asked us to do things they did not do themselves. Toxic even after managers tried talking to them.

I worked at Aramark full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Absolutely nothing comes to mind.

    Cons

Upper management is the worst I’ve ever encountered. She cares nothing about health, safety, or morale. She actually took morning coffee out of the budget for the people driving trucks beginning at 5 am on icy roads in NY state. I can not state strongly enough: Do Not Work Here!

I worked at Aramark full-time for less than a year

    Pros

They have you acquire a C-Class license.

    Cons

The experience is NOTHING of what they make it out to be!! The place is a mess after utilizing a new system and it trickles down to the customers - they often do not receive what they are paying for. Aramark Uniform Services is lacking trust and organization throughout the company. For example, on my first day, they had no idea I was starting. I showed up, they had nothing for me to do so they sent me home for the day - It hasn't gotten better since. Management can easily be described as careless. As an Associate District Manager, you are supposed to be training to be a District Manager.. You AREN'T!! The opportunity has been all route running. You can expect to be working 10+ hours a day on a truck. I found myself either running routes or being ordered to "clean the dock". The experience in INVALUABLE. When on the truck, you can expect to not have full loads so you WILL BE under delivering to accounts and hearing their frustration. If you're looking for a good work-life balance then this is NOT the position for you! Once you become a District Manager, you can expect to be route running most days as Aramark usually finds themselves to be severely under staffed. This makes it almost impossible to complete your managerial duties. Continually, upper management will expect unrealistic numbers considering the time spent on route + COVID-19. Finally, it is an unsafe work environment during the COVID-19 pandemic. For example, I notified a manager that I had been exposed to an individual that had tested positive for Coronavirus.. I was then advised to come into work anyways! When asked for a reasoning, the manager stated, "I don't want to get HR involved because then it makes the process lengthier. You should get tested and come in after. It's a part of being a manager and showing your leadership. We need people right now." - After this is when I did NOT feel comfortable coming into work anymore. For that reason, I had to quit and look elsewhere.
