I worked at Arbonne International full-time

    Pros

Arbonne encourages employees to stay healthy. Many employees walk around the building or meditate during lunch time. If you are lucky, you could go to Arbonne annual conference in Vegas but they will ask you to work there for free.

    Cons

I worked in Controller’s department for about a year. Compensation of finance and accounting staff is below market making people to leave all the time. Controller is just a puppet in CFO’s hands and not allowed to make his own decisions. IT department is incompetent and can't provide wrong necessary reports or accurate business information.

    Advice to Management

I wish office employees were as happy as independent consultants were at Arbonne. But it was never like that - all Management cared about were sales and consultants.

I worked at Arbonne International (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Discounts on Arbonne products for employees
Very rare team building events, such as end of audit party that I attended a couple of times
Arbonne used to be a good company when I started four-five years ago. But this time is gone...

    Cons

It is not a secret that Management is preparing to sell the Company soon. That's why Management is cutting cost everywhere, including accounting staff, trying to achieve better financial results. My expectation is that the massive lay off is coming soon – right after the acquisition of the Company within the next 12 months or so
The treatment of the accounting and finance department, especially cost accounting folks, was horrible as absolutely everyone worked long hours on a daily basis. Overtime is not paid by the Company. Some key people in cost accounting, including the manufacturing facility, were laid off while those who stayed were ‘asked’ (read ‘requested’) to work long hours to cover the ‘gap’ and ‘their own inefficiencies’
IT systems and reports do not work putting a burden on the cost accounting to fix the problem manually every month
Management does not treat people well pushing the good people out and letting others to strive on politics in this toxic environment. Things are very desperate in finance department

    Advice to Management

Treat employees properly even if you decided to sell the Company

I worked at Arbonne International full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Overall market opportunity for the company is great. Products and field sales are solid.

    Cons

Mismanaged from the top down. CEO is self serving. Decisions made on the basis of how it helps her and her cronies. The tone from the top is followed by the remainder of the C-level team. Bad decision after bad decision on the technology side continues to make it almost impossible to succeed.

    Advice to Management

Laughable that the IT leadership team are putting their own, fake reviews on glassdoor to try and balance the real reviews from former employees. I worked at Arbonne in IT for more than 4 years, please for your own sake, stay away.

    Pros

Good benefits and compensation. Hard working and good Human Resources department. Ripe opportunity for company to succeed under the right leadership.

    Cons

Very poor leadership in the CIO and CEO. IT department has very little direction. Organization is a political mess where each Executive and Sr. Director is working for their own self-serving agendas. I wouldn't recommend working in the IT department.

    Advice to Management

The culture is toxic for employees. Replace the C Suite and Sr. Directors.

    Pros

Some nice people. Many good HR ideas.

    Cons

CIO is terrible. He hides in his office. He provides no leadership or vision. He does not respect or trust the technical and business knowledge of the IT team. Very very high employee churn rate. CIO has built a very poor culture to work in.

    Advice to Management

CEO should get a top 3 things to improve the business list from other IT people than the CIO. Stop wasting so much money on a a very poor order management system. CIO is poor leader get him some help.

I have been working at Arbonne International (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Discounted products
    Honestly, there aren't any PROS

    Cons

Does not offer work life balance. Attendance policy sucks with occurences that don't fall off. Non exempt employees accrue PTO. Exempt employees come to work and leave when they want. Morale is at a low due to the management showing favoritism and not caring for the little people. Frustrated workers dealing with a system that doesn't work. Postions being outsourced. A disastrous high turn over rate. HR that does not investigate employee's concerns.

    Advice to Management

Reward hardworkers and treat everyone equally.

I worked at Arbonne International (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great coworkers, free product, benefits were good when started but are falling.fee good managers

    Cons

Management is terrible, favoritism is just as bad. Bad raises, they do not want to hear any bad things about the work environment . HR is just as bad they talk to the employees in a very negative way. They have people leaving to go to different companies and don't replace them so everyone else has to work longer harder and faster with no rewards at all.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees they are the driving force to your company!!! Look at better raises and promotions. You have some awesome people there and they will go some place else, and then it's your loss.
