It was the best first job I ever had. The staff were great and I loved the residents so much. If I only did not start school again I would have still been there. It was an amazing place to work and everyone works together.

As a receptionist it was difficult to call out or take off days due to little to no coverage.

I didn’t really have cons, I moved away, but it was a sad day when I had to leave!

I had a good manager and the I enjoyed working with the residents.

I felt like corporate talked down to the activities staff and didn't care or understand the challenges. They had expectations that weren't realistic at the time. There was a lot of turn over and low pay. Staff morale was low all the time.

Food is giving if you forget to bring your own, it’s not the best but it’s okay

Coldest kitchen I’ve ever worked, a lot of work space available, multiple appliances available, steady pace when not working a shift solo

I cannot say enough good things about The Arbor Company! They truly live their motto: we listen, we respond and we care. It's seen from the CEO on down to the front line staff workers. Everyone pulls together to honor and care for our residents and each other. The company invests in their employees with thorough training and an open-door policy with everyone. It's more than a company....it's my work family! I havent seen a company like this in years where they believe in work/life balance, they care about you and your family as well as the residents. A small example....on everyone's first day of work, the CEO takes the time to call them and welcome them to The Arbor family. Who does that in this day and age??? We are not just a number...we are a person that they care about. I would recommend The Arbor Company to anyone looking to further their career!

I have worked with the Arbor Company for 4+ years. I've worked in two different roles here. It's great to work for a company you are proud of and confident in the care we provide. We always put our residents first and it shows in what we do. I have been so pleased with the support I receive, training I'm offered and encouragement to succeed. Company Culture is positive and we are always striving to improve. We recently went through Unconcious Bias training at the corporate and community levels. I learned so much and am looking forward to all the future training The Arbor Company will offer. We have amazing leaders and I'm so confident that they will always make the best decisions. I look forward to being a part of our growth.

I travel quite a bit for my role. I enjoy this but during Covid it was a little stressful!
