    I worked at Arby's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Fun, fast paced environment and the night shifts were usually very relaxed. As long as management is good, this job is definitely worth it.

    Cons

Not much room for upward mobility and its hard to get 30 hours a week. Sometimes customers will force you to give them free food.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of people that aren't serving the company well and allow employees to more easily move upward in the company.

    I worked at Arby's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Decent food, friendly work environment, and the daily duties are fairly simple. Not too demanding or stressful, but still pretty engaging.

    Cons

The hours are pitiful. Barely got 12 hours per week around the time I left. And of course minimum wage. Because it's fast food.

    Advice to Management

Boost your employees' hours, or allow them to switch hours and shifts. It allows them to gain the hours necessary to earn a decent salary, as well as adapt to ever-changing schedules.

    I worked at Arby's full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good work life balance. Fun - no one takes themselves too seriously.

    Cons

Not so much an Arby's issue but a retail issue - good times come and go and sometimes you are rolling over a strong period and morale gets down.

    Advice to Management

Possibly add rotations - opportunities to work in different departments?

I have been working at Arby's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Most of the time it's not too busy, definitely not McDonald's busy. You also get a significant discount on food which the food is great might I add.

    Cons

If you aren't a manager you get paid minimum wage. And even if you are a manager I believe you only get $0.40 more. There is little opportunity for any sort of pay raise.

    Advice to Management

We need to be paid more than minimum wage or at least give us more opportunities to make more.

I have been working at Arby's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Long hard hours. Time moves fast because there is so much to do. It is a completely thankless job. At the end of the day you know all your work is leading to death by food.

    Cons

Management is hard, wants everything with nothing in return. No real incentive. It's a job for people to settle into and never leave or grow.

    Advice to Management

Try harder and do more for your team. Not your store.
