-Can't call off on sick days or emergency unless you wanna get yelled at by management or corporate

    Advice to Management

You need to focus on the respect policy more for EVERYONE including hr and management, then maybe people wouldn't quit so often. Plus stop being cheap and give people more hours. Stop picking favorites!!

    Pros

There are no good reasons to work for this establishment and I for one never have. Rate a company ? You didn't say I had to be a former or current employee

    Cons

The food is terrible. The drive thru slow and incompetent.

    Advice to Management

Discharge all current employees and start over.

    I worked at Arby's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I feel I was unprofessionally treated and terminated by the SM. I would have stayed with this company, for several reasons, despite very nominal 'training' after hire and other inclusions that may make someone feel just a transitory 'employee.' I would really rather forget about the SM's avoidance of then dismissal of me. I was not even told I had been reviewed nor terminated. I don't think the main company knew I had been taken out.

    Cons

Not enough training nor opportunity to prove mettle in all store areas, such as DT
    Profanity- all over
    Not good for vegetarian consciences

    Advice to Management

Don't be so double dealing with well intentioned employees nor "good" ones

They want you to dedicate your whole life to Arbys absolutely no work/ home life balance

    I worked at Arby's part-time

    Pros

They pay you, but if you're a new hire, you might not get your pay card for a month because they left it in the office under a stack of papers and forgot about it.

    Cons

Employees are treated so bad because the General Manager and her Sister have set schedules for themselves that don't include nights or weekends. And she schedules 20 people to work those shifts with her. But on second shift and a busy Friday night, you're lucky if you have more than one person working front line. When it's time for a store meeting, the General Mgr. comes in dressed in her professional Old Navy sweatshirt and thrashes her arms around while yelling about how it's everyone's fault but hers that everything is a disaster. This results in employees fighting among themselves because there's so much chaos. Everyday they run out of something...cups, chocolate for the shakes, jalapenos, BEEF! When you submit your schedule in writing, the General Manager will never look at it or even remotely remember. You will be scheduled and then you have to call her to remind her. Cassopolis St. Arby's is pathetic and if you've worked there for any length of time, it's because you don't know your self worth.

    Advice to Management

You work for Arby's; not YOURSELF! Any manager worth their salt would know that you can't have the schedule you want unless your store has what it needs first. When you see your second shift and weekends struggling, you should probably put on your motivating Old Navy sweatshirt and big girl panties and start earning your pay! Get a clue.
