    Pros

Set schedule, vacation time, salaried. The job is easy once you are trained. The training of associates is easy with the procedures and guidelines set forth. Managers are put to the test by having inspections from VP of operations and district Managers.

    Cons

Hard to find replacement if you have to call out for emergency or sick. Hours for night time closing manager are 12 hour shifts. Night shift is usually short staffed.

    Advice to Management

Be more flexible with management staff on sick days.

I have been working at Arby's full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

-Food is great, free meal on shift and 50% off when not working
-benefits are pretty good, a little pricey. Great 401k
-pay is good, corresponds with experience
-the team is great to work with, however it depends heavily on the store and the GM
-repeat guests are usually very nice

    Cons

-Stores are not allowed enough hours to serve guests the best way possible.
-turnover is usually pretty high. Its a simple job, but its hard work
-often stuck in position without adequate time to accomplish other tasks, especially when closing.

    Advice to Management

Arbys is a good company that strives to be number one. I constantly hear comparisons to Chick-fil-A when hearing different industry metrics. If you really want to be better than Chick-fil-A, you need to invest in having more staff at your stores. You can run a smooth lunch with 8 people, but if you want to really serve your guests all day you need to have more hours for all shifts. CFA doesnt close with less than a dozen people whereas Arbys will close with 3. You can never top them if you dont invest in your team.

    I worked at Arby's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It's clean, they have good communication between all the staff, you get to meet new people and it's a good place for a first job

    Cons

One of the worst things from working there is that you when you walk out you smelling like grease and fried food

    I worked at Arby's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexible schedule, Great Team, The employees there are very helpful when i first started they were all very welcoming, Training was very hands on which I liked, Fast paced work environment, I learned as much as I wanted to in the few months that I was there I learned how to work every position and was applying for a Shift Lead Position

    Cons

Pay was not good, and although my co workers were amazing workers they let personal issues become works new gossip. I mean yes every where you go there's going to be gossip, but you know it's a problem when the GM is participating in the gossip. Actually she was the worst. Don't get me wrong I'm grateful she gave me an opportunity, but she also was the one that kept promising me a position that she was promising to 2 other people and had already gave to someone else. The equipment there is in desperate need of and upgrade and the lobby needs redecorating, and the inventory is very unorganized. The employees would come to work high, one of the manager's was stealing money out of the safe. One of the assistant managers started dating a co worker. No differentiation between work and home environment

    Advice to Management

Don't lie to your employees! Keep your personal problems to yourself, Hire people with experience and trustworthy people for management positions, Don't Allow employees to date, Come on get it together you guys have what it takes to be a really good store!
