    Pros

It was a good atmosphere. Not very busy since it's in a small town.

    Cons

A lot of co-workers and in some cases the managers would talk behind the workers backs. Raises we NEVER given. Promotions were given based on favoritism.

    Advice to Management

They should take more care to worry about the employees and use less time worrying about being funny and making friends.

    Pros

the only good thing about this job is that if you needed time off for school the manager would try not to schedule you.

    Cons

-even though the manager would try not to schedule you if she did you where out of luck and if you called in you would be written up.
-the shift managers are some of the most disrespectful people in the world and constantly told me how stupid i am and how i will not end up anywhere even though im going to college to become a teacher
-the store manager constantly lies to us crew members by telling us that she has given us a certain shift we would like and have been asking for then laughs at us at manager meetings.
-shift managers are aloud to go onto facebook and text while at work but if a crew member is caught with there phone out we get written up
-although on your first day you are told that if you where to ever have a problem with a co worker you should go to the manager and talk to them about it if you ever did you got a serrious cut in hours for the next week or two
-my boss complains loudly about how we screw up her chance at a bonus every time coulple of months but wont help the crew get better.
-in the few years that i have been working here i have not gotten a single raise and out of all of the people that work there i only know of one person getting a raise since i have been there.

    Advice to Management

i think that the management at arbys should work on not lying to the crew members and that they should work on how they treat everyone who works there.

    Pros

    Not much...
Not so busy, so you're not really hurried
    Discounts is food
Because it's not that busy, you don't get too tired

    Cons

Mean managers (not all of them, of course)
They don't really teach you; managers expects co-workers to teach you the job when it's their job
    Not really good salary
They expect you to know everything but they don't teach you
There are preferences; some managers like someone better than others, and they put you to work while the others are doing nothing
Not very professional managers; one of was talking with employers about drugs (she using drugs) not a very professional thing to do; even if they use them, they don't have to tell their employers

    Advice to Management

Prepare your managers better. Test their values. Get them to teach each one of the new employees what to do, and not to relay on the other employees

    Pros

    Half-off limited menu items.
Get to see a variety of people, and really nice people.
It can be fun sometimes when you get good at certain tasks.

    Cons

Non-consistent working hours from one week to the next.
    Very few hours.
Hours not consistent compared to fellow co-workers.
Coming home smelling like grease is not fun.

    Advice to Management

Be sure to actually talk to your employees, and make it clear if there's a problem. Ignoring something, or acting like something isn't a big deal, only to bring it up a year later as a problem isn't very helpful.

    Pros

I'm a people person so I loved the interaction with the customers and I always remembered the regulars by names. The 50% off the food was nice.

    Cons

The Manger screams and yells at you in front of customers, never allowed me to learn new jobs

    Advice to Management

Management needs to learn how to talk to their Team Members especially older women and not yell and scream at them. I quit my job Monday because of Rob

    I worked at Arby's full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

At my store that I worked at, i've met some of the greatest people. However who knows what you'll get anywhere else.

    Cons

Owners are disrespectful to their employers and treated all of us as if we are nothing. Also, they treat their managers and store manager with the same disregard. Managers and store managers take this mistreatment out on the employees. An extremely unfair workload for minumum wage. The most you can get is 7.50 unless you become a manager in which case you are still underpaid. Under $10. Even for students this is a terrible job as I feel it teaches them that your employers are supposed to treat you as if you are expendable, even if you go above and beyond.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees better, especially those that are loyal and show up everyday because they must pay their bills. I would have worked here for years and went back to school with this job...but when I go above and beyond for your company and take care of you...I expect you to take care of me as well. $8.00 an hour would have satisfied me for this brainless work.

    Cons

Terrible hours, schedule changes every week, stifling micromanaging management, childish coworkers, management does not provide adequate tools for cleaning

    Advice to Management

Spend money on the maintenance and renovation of your restaurants!!! A bysiness will not thrive if you don't invest money back in it!!!!
